Governor Richardson will receive the Harry S. Truman Good Neighbor Award on Monday, May 11, 2015 as part of the Truman Foundation's annual luncheon in the Imperial Ballroom at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The award will mark the 131st birthday of President Truman.
The Truman Good Neighbor Award has been given annually since 1973 on the anniversary of the birth of President Truman. Previous honorees include Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald R. Ford, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, and news anchor Walter Cronkite.
The public is invited to attend the 63rd annual birthday luncheon honoring President Truman. Admission is $100 per person or tables of ten are available at $1,000 each. Please make your reservations through the Foundation Office at: (913) 722-1211
